Correction of an essay
Hello I'm supposed to write a very important essay to my English class. Could you please look at it and say what isn't correct ? I'm not native. I've been learning English for 4 years. TEXT:
We successfully finished the first half of our school year so we decided to throw a party. The party was held last week in the school gym. There were about 60 people. The party started at 8 pm. Everything went well. We were dancing, chatting and having a great time. But then about 9 pm. we ran out of food and drinks. People started complaining and many of them were really angry. Lots of students even went to a near pub to buy some alcohol and stuff. Some of them said that that was the worst party they had been to. I think the party wasn't well prepared they should have expected this to happen, they knew how many people was going to attend it.
