Dear Ruben:
Please find bellow some information on my skills to review clinical articles. I do not know for sure what kind of information you need, so I have made some general comments. I hope that helps! I am dentist graduated from ________, University of ______, in 1996. I granted my master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry from _______, University of ___, in 2003 (area of concentration: Er:YAG laser oral and dental applications). Although I do not have a degree in statistics, I do have background knowledge in scientific writing. I have been dedicated to reviewing clinical and research papers in Dentistry for over 5 years. I have now some experience and many articles published in prestigious dental journals (please, find some of the PDF files at my personal website). Most recently, I have begun reviewing medical papers and assignments as well. Most of them have been submitted for publication in medical journals, but I do not have any PDF or full-text files. I am currently a research fellow at the Department of ______ and a part-time reviewer on life sciences. My clients are professors, clinical assistants and postgraduate students working/studying at Brazilian dental and medical schools. The type of assignments I review for them are basically scientific articles (mostly), research proposals, case reports, abstracts. The articles’ average size is 3,000 words. Some of the professionals I have worked to are affiliated to the following institutions: I keep up with developments, current literature and terminologies in the life sciences fields by means of attendance of lectures, courses and other activities organized by Dental and Medical Schools and other Institutions; attendance to meetings, congresses; regular consultation of online bibliographic databases of indexed journal and abstracts, covering the fields of dentistry, medicine, nursing, clinical health care and other related areas.
