Professional background
With this essay, I would like to apply for the Master’s Program Scholarship for the subject ”social cultural anthropology. Having already acquired the preliminary B.A. in Social Education. I know I am to continue my studies and successfully achieve my career goal – becoming a university teacher and lectur and scientist.
The choice to become an social educator was not random, but I already knew I wanted to study further. I also perfer to studie further in english spoken countries cause of the importance to become more available on the international market.

The final choice and motivation of speciality
The emphasis trough my BA program was with social burden and marginalized young/ teenager and children. The practica abroud in a shoolproject in Central America and in children´s home, in Denmark, leadet my to further questions and research.Fx:

  How does power as gains and legitimacy they? How are hierarchical structures and how they are reproduced or changed?

  Identities: How to form identities, both collective identities such as ethnic groups as well as individual identities.And how there bcome an identiety in an globa context?
  
• 
  How does the globallisation has an influence on the globa/international educationstructur? Ect.
  

This masters degree offer´s particular knowledge and to notice a different perspective. Like the perspective of the powerless and underprivileged, also minority groups, marginalized ect. and the society elite class. Important representative of this school are fx. N. Luhmann and P. Bourdieu, which inspired my particular, about the metologie, systems- and fieldtherori and studing further and analysing social pheanomenes in micro/macro layers.
Fx social structures and behaviors, identeties, traditons ect. in a concret society and in bigger context like social- and certain political structures, economic conditions, networks and interaction on the global plaine.

The process of globalization changing the social conditions of the living environment where education and socialization occurs and thus also affects the educational reality in which the younger generation growing up today.
I think the teachers/sociale-educator at global education processes and the formation of subsequent problems of globalization, play an important role. And that social-educators should contribute to the solution of these problems to deal responsibly and constructively with the opportunities and risks of globalization.

  I think that the social- and development work, whitch often needs an interdisciplinary commitment, is challenged to handle and understand reality of a diffrent cultures and human being as a social being in social context.

  Also an opportunity to development a wider awareness for the organisation about the humans in the society and culture in context to the educations.

  The cultur social antroploogies perspective might bee importent to consider new and different perspective of human exigencies, livstile, traditionen, status etc. and become an wider frame of the social- and development work.

  At least but not unimportent, social cultural anthropology is a scientific discipline, and my purpose and motivation is to continue and study further my Phd.
  
  

However, in light of the recent financial hardships in my family/my parent are not able to help me finance my education.
Unfortunately, a master’s level education abroad (like UK, Canada, Australia) extremely costly, but I believe it should not come in the way of achieving my goal. For the study support in my country I already overlimeted the age after my BA dregree.
Therefore, I hope to receive financial aid from the UNESCO board for a postgraduate education and, with trepidation, am asking you to consider my candidacy for the Master’s Program Scholarship.
