0My friend told me a story of her boss today. It was his first trip to Asia and as an American, he'd always used a toilet bowl when he went to bathroom. What he didn't know was in the other part of the planet, it's common for restrooms to have 'bowless' toilets. In fact, some Asian countries only have bowless toilets in restrooms. For those of you who still have no clue what a bowless toilet looks like, it's sort of like a toilet bowl but [burried in the floor]( Is the description correct?). 00he thought to use it just like a normal toilet bowl. Needless to say, it struck him. Though Westerners tend to have bigger butts, they are no match for the size of the bowl. <Smile> After thinking for some time, he decided it was wiser to swallow his [pride/dignity] and ask a local. The local guy found it funny but politely told him to use another stall with a normal bowl. He later found out how they operate- Squatting is the key. He had a good laugh.02br
