Here's some information about Phuket I've just looked up: 48.7 miles long and 21.3 miles across, Phuket is the largest island in Thailand, about the size of Singapore. Surrounding the main island are many small secluded islands. The temperature is warm all year round, ranging from 20 to 36 degrees Celcious. The rainy season starts in September and runs until October.02br

00I've always wanted to visit it but never have the time or luxury to realize my dreams. It's said that, "You can't even find a footprint on many of the beaches." I don't know when the information was posted but I'm sure it's not applicable to many commercialized beaches and sure Phuket is no longer a remote island that it used to be. Anyhow, I'd still like to experience the laid back life and white sandy beaches that the place offers. It's satisfying enough just to imagine lying on the sandy beach, lined with coconut palm trees swaying in the wind, with a cold magarita in my hand, listening to waves crashing onto the beach.02br
