Correction

Teachers please correct this sentence.

"Do not dare to tell her what happened."

I am unable to find what is wrong.

As am I. It has something to do with the odd verb 'dare', but nowadays what is written seems fine to me.

I think the bare infinitive should be used:

"Don't dare tell her what happened."
