Correction

Hello,

Dear RAM,

I am sorry to have missed you. I came to Udaipur on a business trip and I have been here for two weeks now. Your neighbours told me the sad news that your father has been hospitalized. I wish I could see him but unfortunately I am leaving for Madras today on the 4 o'clock plane. Please send your father my best wishes. Anyway , I will be in Udaipur again on 3rd and 4th June and I will certainly find time to call on you again, even though it is going to be a hectic schedule.

Yours affectionately.
Ganesh

The above letter was written by a person Ganesh. He has left some blank spaces which have to filled up with some suitable words. I have filled up with some words which are undelined.

Are they correct?

I also want to know about the construction of " I am sorry to have missed you".
Does it mean " I am sorry that I have missed you."?

Thanks.
