Dear Mr Jackson
I’m writing in reply to your fax in which you outline the problems you have had with our products. Our chocolates are produced to the highest standards, so we take your complaints seriously.
The reason for the bad quality was due to technical problems of our production line. We can assure you that this problem has been solved by our technical supervisor. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused. We will certainly make sure that our staff will take extra care with any order we receive from you in the future.
Your dissatisfaction is fully acceptable. Accordingly, a new shipment left the warehouse this morning and will be delivered tomorrow. Please turn over the damaged goods to the driver at the time of delivery. As compensation for the discomfort, our bookkeeping department has been instructed to issue a credit note of 15% reduction on the total order. We hope that you find this an acceptable expression of our wish to put things right and that it meets with your approval.
Your feedback is extremely valuable to us. As a token of our appreciation, I would like to invite you to a piano concert. Pianist Kevin Hays will be performing a solo piano concert at the Elisabeth Hall in on Friday, June 26th 2009. I very much hope that you can join us and look forward to meet you personally.
