correction

This morning, I pulled up my car next to a Mini Couper. [On/After] removing my seatbelt, I looked up and to my surprise, an angelic face was looking directly at me. There was a pause between us which seemed to last forever. Suddenly, it struck me - the lady in that car is my all-time idol!

By the way, do you call a person who is being secretly admired an idol?

Please correct my mistakes. Thanks in advance!

Thank you Feebs11! I have some quick questions:

Is 'pull up' always understood as pull up a car, which is why 'a car' is unnecessary?

Is there a better word than idol?

Generally, I think you can say "pull up" indicates you are in a vehicle. Context indicates that you are in a car.

idol - possible alternatives = "pin-up" "icon" "inamorata". But most people will understand at once if you say someone is your idol.
