Correction 1

Can I say,

(1) There are a few of pupils are playing happily in the field.

(2) He is sweeping the floor in the classroom.

(3) He goes for a jog / goes jogging at the park.

(4) She won a champion / championship in the singing competition.

(5) He is cutting the grass hardly.

(6) The reporter wrote the news of the newspaper.

(7) He dug a hole.

(8) He packed his books in / into the bag.
