The graph illustrates the proportion of tourists travelled to Scotland who attracted by four different locations (aquarium, castle, zoo, festival), covering a period from the 1980s to the 2010s. Units are measured in percentage.
As can be seen from the graph, three out of four locations were growing popularity. The only place which has less number of visitors were the zoo.
Castle has the most popularity, the numbers rose over 40% in 1995. This was the highest figure in the period. The changed in 1995, it fell from over 40% to nearly 30%. The number of tourists visited aquarium had a rapid went up and sharp went down in 1980s. After that the number decreased dramatically in 2000s whereas the zoo saw a gradual increased in the same period. The portion of guests came to festival remained stable under 30%. People came to the zoo fluctuated between 10% and 20%.
