Young people should spend more time on cultural activities such as music and theatre and less time on sport. How far do you agree with this statement?

The youths spend their time in marvelous way, some enjoy cultural activities while some prefer sports over cultural activities. In my point of view, sports are essential element of life so that I partially disagree with this statement.

First of all, the youths need to maintain some physical activities to keep a good health, participation in sports make them healthy in term of physical aspect. Health is wealth, if they have a good health, they would be able to enjoy other activities, cultural activities included. As you can see, doctors usually suggest to take regular exercise to improve the physical fitness.

Having said that, if we ignore the necessity of physical activities, we are confronting a massive health disasters in near future. For instance, the majority of diseases today appear due to the youngsters less involvement in outdoor activities. The more youngsters inactive, the more they suffer from mental depression, obesity, heart disorders, frustration. So, encouraging young people playing sports prevent them from an unhealthy life.

Not to mention, sports help the youths learn teamwork. During sports, young people learn how to interact with colleagues, how to approach and overcome difficulties,...for a common goal. This experience opens the potential for young people of becoming a successful athlete.

All things considered, no doubt that cultural activities are crucial, it helps the youngsters learn different cultural aspect. But at the same time, playing sport have an unhideable contribution in young people life. By playing sports, the youths will have the best condition to experience and develop in both cultural activities and physical activities.
