Correct word order

Could you please help me to put these adjectives in the correct order?

exertional constricting retrosternal chest pain

I think the order you've chosen is a good one. I would, however, add some commas: extertional, constricting, retrosternal chest pain Such a courtesy may not be common in the medical literature. But the medical literature is often a trial to read - even for medical professionals.

I would, however, add some commas:

Such a courtesy may not be common in the medical literature. But the medical literature is often a trial to read - even for medical professionals.

You of course spelt exertional right the first time. My attempt was a typo.
