Correct way of writing a sentence

Is it right to say

"In the below mentioned email, is the greeting correctly punctuated?"

or

"In the email mentioned below, is the greeting correctly punctuated?" ?

That is whether it is correct to say "below mentioned email" or should we say it as "email mentioned below"

If possible give a grammatical explanation.

This means that the actual text of the email is not shown here. To mention something is simply to say something about it,

eg I wrote an email yesterday to Tom.
