Correct Use of Parentheses

I've been translating the Sponge Docs and I found something that I found to be quite strange to me:
Which is the correct form?

- ... you don’t have to worry about all your plugins breaking between each new major release of Minecraft. (1.6, 1.7, 1.8, etc.)
- ... you don’t have to worry about all your plugins breaking between each new major release of Minecraft (1.6, 1.7, 1.8, etc.)
- ... you don’t have to worry about all your plugins breaking between each new major release of Minecraft (1.6, 1.7, 1.8, etc.).

I'd like to get as much feedback as possible.

Thank you!

They differ slightly in their punctuation.

Thank you, but how? My screen must be too small to see it.

I don't see any difference either.

I don't like any of them. I'd go for:

- ... you don’t have to worry about all your plugins breaking between each new major release of Minecraft (1.6, 1.7, 1.8, etc).

I will vote for the third construction. The first full stop is for 'etc.' and the second one for ending the sentence.

In British English we tend not to use the full stop for abbreviations.

Right. The punctuation, in this instance, depends on the followed dialect.

The American punctuation does require that the etc. to have its own period.
