Correct use of "makes you"

Hello, I'm a bit curious of the correct use of "make" and "makes" in a question, for example in this one:

"That doesn't makes you better" or if it should be "That doesn't make you better".

It should be "That doesn't make you better". You already have the s marker on do (doe s , doe s n't) . Don't put another s on make .

It should be "That doesn't make you better".

You already have the s marker on do (does, doesn't). Don't put another s on make.

You are only allowed one s marker per verb phrase, and it has to be on the first verb.

I'll elaborate a bit further:

The person in question lost a cooking contest. He made statements that his dish was more complicated. (required more ingredients) One of the judges said "That doesn't makes you better".

The judge's staement should be "makes" or "make"?

Makes more sense as it sounds more natural, but someone knows why? I'm a bit confused as it's being refer
