Correct use of I and me

Which is correct?

This is my son and I in Guadalajara.

or,

This is my son and me in Guadalajara.

I believe the first is correct.

The ' me ' is accepted too.

eg

A : Knock, knock ! Who's there inside ?

B : It's me ( I ) .Emotion: smile

"This is my son and I" is correct according to the formal rules of grammar. I would probably follow that rule in writing.

"... my son and me" is pretty much accepted in everyday spoken English. To say "this is my son and I in Guadalajara" would sound a little too formal to many speakers.
