Generaly it doesnt matter, very few english people will mind or even notice. But if you follow this rule you will be sure to get it right.

Take Carlton out of the picture - literally.

Thank you for the piture of I? Of course not! Thank you for the picture of me. Thus, thank you for the picture of Carlton and me.

(And myself can only be used if I took the picture - here's a picture I took of myself.)
