I need some divining guidance on apostrophes with regards to the following sentence:
...Corporal's Black and White both excelled at drill.
...Corporals' Black and White both excelled at drill.
Which sentence is grammatically correct? Corporal is not plural therefore the ' should be placed after the s, but Black and White are individual people so should it not be Corporal's?
