Correct usage of "as to"

I am sending an e-mail to universities in the UK and I am concerned how this may sound to them. "Unfortunately I was not able to prepare all of the documentation in time and I am worried as to how this may affect my application."
It makes sense to me but I feel I might have misused "as to". Thanks in advance! Emotion: smile
