Correct usage in this example.

The performer died after falling ill on stage. This was initially thought by the audience to be a part of the act, until emergency services were called in, the audience evacuated, and he was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.

Is this a comma splice ?

The section beginning with 'until' ends with the complete sentence: He was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
