Correct usage.

Are these both correct as written?

1.It was a sign she was going to survive.
2.It was a sign. She was going to survive.


Does 1. work as a sentence with an implied subject (she was). It would just be an incorrect fragment, right?

1.Her death was attributed to suicide. Another victim of cyber bullying.

2.Her death was attributed to suicide. She was another victim of cyber bullying.
