Correct usage

He was looking for a place to stay. Just for a few days.
She likes animals. Just like her Dad.

He likes Hockey, as he took part in the sport at school.


Should just be separated with a comma or a period as a rule ? Do they work as sentences as they stand, as we would use a pause in speech:

And same for as.

Can you have complete sentences starting with either just or as ?
