Correct usage.

When you love what you do it’s not work, it’s passion.

How should this be punctuated? A colon after do ?

It is believed to be the inspiration behind the stabbing of a girl in Wisconsin in 2014 - when two teenagers lured their friend into the woods before attacking her.

Should this not be where instead of when with a comma. Doesn't when in this arrangement signal something to follow like: When two teenagers/before attacking her, they made a terrible mistake.
