00I believe it has been said that faith comes from God and it is a gift from him. Men from the beginning of time have failed to reach salvation through keeping of laws (should it be 'the laws'??) given by God. To some, he, God, gives that gift when he or she cries out to God in pain or distress and God, as benevolent and caring as he is, has a caring heart and gives that person a gift of faith. I think life, with all its trials and tribulations, becomes a testing ground where God can judge whether a person deserves to receive his gift of faith -- the very gift that will decide whether a person can and will enter the kingdom of heaven after he spends his or her days in this earth.0-
