Letter Writing

Correct this letter to my lecturer..

I am writing in regards to my final exam mark. I came to your office on Friday the 30th at 3pm, in hope to discuss the issue but it appeared you were busy at the time to talk. In all honesty and the main reason for writing, is that I wish for you to help me pass.

Currently studying Engineering, I worked hard to transfer into this course from Computer Science. However since then I have been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and have random flare ups but overall is under control and still taking medication. Since then I recovered better(mentally) this year and passed 3 of the 4 subjects in semester 1 compared to the 1 of 4 last year in Semester 1. However in 2nd Semester of this year my mother was diagnosed with cancer, more specifically, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Still in my state of recovery it absolutely shattered me to see my mum in such a state recovering from the chemotherapy.

With all this occurring I studied hard as I could throughout the semester. From my perspective it has been very difficult but I still believe I deserve a pass. I attended all labs and tutorials and lectures

As you can see it's not finished, but would like opinions on the progress so far..

thanks.

Hi, I'm very sorry about all these problems. Instead of asking to pass, have you considered asking for amother chance to take the exam? Best wishes, Clive
