Correct the sentence please

"it is a nice keyboard. Added to that, the fact that my mouse is broken, it makes sense to buy the keyboard".

i smell something fishy in the sentence, but couldnt find out what..

More natural is "In addition,..." or less formally, "On top of that,..."

But what was the error in my 1st quoted sentence? The only grammar error in your first sentence is that you have not started it with a cap
