Correct the Sentence

Please correct the below Sentence :

The Quality of the mangoes was not good.

This is OK, but don't use a capital 'Q'.

Thanx for your reply but should not 'was not good' be 'is not good' because the sentence is talking about quality of Mangoes.

Infact that is my doubt.

"was" is past and "is" is present. Either one can be correct, depending on the context.

The quality of the mangoes is not good -- correct -- present tense

The quality of the mangoes was not good -- correct -- past tense

The mangoes are not good -- correct -- present tense

The mangoes were not good -- correct -- past tense

The quality of the mangoes were not good -- incorrect -- past tense

The quality of the mangoes are not good -- incorre

Context: Complaining to a Supplier about a Produce Shipment
