Correct the Mistakes, Please !



I guess this text have many mistakes but don`t know how many . Please help !
Long time ago ,when Ioann Zlatoust ( the Golden Mouth ) served as patriarch of Konatantinopol city , the Emperor confiscated the field of one poor widow . He think nobody can opposite him and be very amazing , when doors of St Sofia church had been closed before his nose. – The Patriarch gave the order to excommunicate him from the Church . It was be very serious and the Emperor must to go to Patriarch`s home , trying to release himself from the ban . In his speech he trying to prove , how lawfully this confiscation had been.
