Although the outer box it was in perfect condition, I found when I arrived home that the player by itself had obviously been used before and had the several scratches on its case. The headphone cable was badly twisted and I do not think so it will be long before the headphones themselves go out of their shape altogether. In addition, neither of the two free cassettes which came up with the machine was at the beginning.I am sure they must have been being played before by a previous customer, or perhaps the machine had then been used for demonstration purposes.Since there is nothing wrong with the sound quality of the player, but, as I had paid full price, I have a right to expect to receive a brand new equipment.I would therefore be grateful if you would replace for the player with a new model of the same type.I look forward to hearing from you in due course.Yours faithfully
