Correct tenses

My German has worsened recently since for the past few years I have been mailny teaching German to primary school students. This job has allowed my so far to develop my creativity and independence and to put my theoretical knowledge about teaching into practice.
I have always thought of myself as being not very attractive to potential employees.
I have worked so far as a German teacher. I have obtained some experience in teaching mainly six , seven and nine-year-old children.
