Correct tense

Hello.

Could you please check these sentences? I'm still not sure what tense I should use in these cases.

She always asks me if I have any pets, even though I have already told her many times before that I don't. (It is still the case that she asks me if I have any pets, and that I don't have any.)

I'm sorry, but I thought we are here to discuss what is going on in our company. (They are now discussing what to do with the current situation in their company.)

Thank you in advance.

kook j She always asks me if I have any pets, even though I have already told her many times before that I don't. These tenses are correct. You don't need both "already" and "before".
