CORRECT SENTENCES

Hi,

Help me to find the error in these sentences.

1." It's terribly smoky in here- I'm just going on for a breath of fresh air".

Is it right if I delete "in" and correct "on" into "out" in this sentence?

2. "His mother used to make much him when he went out for holidays"

I correct "His mother used to make him much when he went out for holidays"

3. She said, "Never trust a man whose eyes are so close one another!"

I correct

She said, "Never trust a man whose eyes are so close together!"

I would like to see your comment for these sentences.

Thank you so much for your help.

1. It's terribly smoky in here -- I'm just going out for a breath of fresh air. (You could just say "here," but it makes sense to emphasize that you are going out for fresh air because it's smoky in the building you are in.)

2. They probably want "make much of him" -- meaning to praise or compliment him. "Make him much" is unclear.

3. "so close to
