correct sentence please

If a English speaker says this, would he say it like this?

The usb cable also doubles as a wall charger by adding it on via the usb. You can charge your phone on your computer or on the wall.

The gap in the door isn't wide enough for me to get through. I can only stick my arm through. [The door is ajar] The door wasn't ajar enough for me to get through.

Thanks in advance

1. The cable doesn't "double as" a charger. The cable is just the cable. You can connect it to a wall charger or to a computer. The cable has the same function in either case.
2. "... adding it on via the USB" doesn't make sense.

Is this what you mean by your revised charger sentence?

Yes, that's what I meant. To my knowledge, portable electronic devices such as cellphones, smartphones and tablets that charge through a cable with a USB plug can be charged from a USB port on a computer, or from a USB socket on the back of a charger that plugs into a wall socket, like the one you linked to. I wrote my corrected sentence on that basis.

I was trying to explain exactly what I linked. Thank you for the explanation.

I had one concern about something you wrote. Why does the sentence finish with 'to' : ...like the one you linked to.

How would you have written: I was trying to explain exactly what I linked. / I was trying to explain exactly the picture in the link. / I was trying to explain exactly the picture I linke

Please ask unrelated questions in a separate thread.

Like everyone here, I'm a volunteer, and I choose the questions that I will answer. There are many questions that I can't answer because of my limited knowledge of grammatical analysis and terminology. If I see your questions, and I think I can give you a useful answer to them, I may do. It's the same with everyone else here.

Sorry for adding the questions, since I had not got any answers and was having difficulty with them, I would have like for a English person to give me their opinion. Is there any way you can take a look at the ones you know?

I still having trouble with: Yes, the picture I linked to shows exactly what I was trying to explain." Is there another word you can use to help me understand

The reason you didn't get a quick response is probably because you "piggy-backed" the question on an existing thread. Kris asked you not to do that because people who have responded to the original may not realize there is something more to be answere
