One of my friends is offering a smoothie to a guest and the smoothie is not good and he is asking me if he should offer the guest the smoothie. Now I say, I wouldn’t offer smoothies to people if they were not good.
Or,
I wouldn’t offer smoothies to people if they are not good.
Which one is correct? Neither, unless you use the edits above.
