correct sentence?

Hello. Could anyone verify whether the following is a correct English sentence? Any improvements are also welcome:

"The sitcom draws its humour from exposing the main character's attempts to appear upper class"

I'm unsure about the "draws its humour" part.
I'm actually talking about "Keeping up appearances".
