correct sentence

Hi teacher,

If I ask another teacher for courses for a student of mine, which of these two should it be:

1. Do you have any other course suggestions she might consider for next quarter.
2. Do you have any other course suggestions she might want to consider for next quarter.

Should it be the second?

I thought so too and I think they both have the same meaning. Right?

But the meaning slightly differs in the below sentences when using 'might want to consider' vs 'might consider':

She may consider taking this course (Math 120) next quarter.
She may want to

CliveI agree.
Thank you so much, Clive.

Just to make sure I have understood everything correctly, so the two forms ("might consider" and "might want to consider") can have the same meaning and not alter the sentence generally, such as in our first examples, and a different meaning and alter the sentence, such as in the second examples. T
