Correct sentence?

Hi! everyone.
I want to rephrase this sentence below.
Scenario-:There are two tracks that lead to my friend's home one leads through the woods(in the west) and the other leads from the main road(in the south). Now I am riding pillion on my friend's motorbike and ask him 'which way to your house is longer this one or the other that leads through the woods'?
Or should I say-:Is the woodsy way to your house farther as compared to this one?
If the above sentence is correct, then what does it mean?
Thanks!
