Correct sentence?
Hi. Please help. In the New Internation Version of the Bible, 1 Corinthians 6:11, it is written:
11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
Is this correct to have three clause-like structures connected with commas, absent of what I think are the prepositional phrases "in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God"? The three clause-like structures in the scripture given that I am talking about are "you were washed," "you were sanctified," and "you were justified."

Is this correct? This is the Bible! Of course it's correct. This is literary writing, and the 3 clauses are just a series or list without a serial 'and'. This is permitted authors.
