I'm finding my pen seems a odd to me, but I take I'm finding a tutor quite easily as I'm in the process of finding a tutor (these days).In the case of the tutor I can imagine checking the ads and calling around for the relevant information. Clearly finding a tutor is a process or activity, but no analogous interpretation comes to

How interesting. I think the same as Jim... but I wasn't really sure of this until I read this thread. I mean, you never know what's good in English, although my dictionaries say nothing against using "find" in progressive tenses...
