Correct requests

1. I will appreciate it if you can take me to the airport.

2. I would appreciate it if you can take me to the airport.

3. I would appreciate it if you could take me to the airport.

Which of the above requests are correct?

3 is correct and polite. 2 is less correct and makes it seem more like you are assuming that they can take you instead of asking. 1 is wrong.

3 is correct and polite.

2 is less correct and makes it seem more like you are assuming that they can take you instead of asking.

1 is wrong.

#3 is the standard form and the most polite way to say that.

As for the other two sentences, I'm sure you'll hear them now and then. #1 is not incorrect but is much less polite than #3.

#2 mixes tenses (past and present) for no good reason.
