Correct punctuation (speech)
On the night of the gala, she promised they would be, Sophisticated well dressed men in suits, Yeah, I answered, ''Shell suits!''
Should there be a full stop after suits. What would be the correct punctuation here. Do we always use double speech marks when it's a quote inside the speech or can you use one set ' '.
