Correct order of husband and wife names
Which order is correct on a card? Mary and Bob Smith or Bob and Mary Smith

You say 'on a card'.
If you mean on an actual greeting card, not its envelope, I would say that the names of the recipients are commonly not written at all. I usually just write a little message, eg Happy Anniversary!, and then my signature.

i learned a great rule that i have continually applied in listing names for donors or acknowledgments;
rule #1
you do not separate the husband from his last name
therefore in your example it would be the following;
Mary and Bob Smith
the wife is first and husband second - connected with his last name
then -
