Correct order: [brown size 9 Nike shoes] or [Nike brown size 9 shoes]

(1) I am looking for a pair of brown size 9 Nike shoes.

(2) I am looking for a pair of Nike brown size 9 shoes.

Which one is correct? Thank you for your help.

ansonguy Which one is correct? English has a more or less fixed order of adjectives. There are a lot of websites about it, but in reality we do it by ear.

English has a more or less fixed order of adjectives. There are a lot of websites about it, but in reality we do it by ear. Number 2 is wrong. Number 1 is possible, but at the shoe store I would probably say "I am looking for a pair of brown Nike shoes, size 9."
