[correct or not] one sentence, 4 variations

Dear Users,

Could you please tell me which of these are non-standard or incorrect? I think the third one is incorrect. The first one seems to be lacking the saxon genitive though... Not sure if the is necessary, but since we're talking about specific vocabulary that was taught in the previous class then I guess it is.

1) We started with a brief review of the previous class lexical items.

3) We started with a brief review of the lexical items from the previous class.
