Grammar

Correct or not no. 75

Dear All,

Could you please help me improve these sentences (if need be of course)

It's one thing to reduce the workload or the number of teaching hours but it's a whole different matter to propose the idea that the whole course be taken away from me. Not to mention the fact that nobody has actually approached me to discuss the whole thing. One way or another, these things should be talked over carefully prior to any changes made.

The fragments in bold are the ones about correctness of which I'm not certain but if you spot any other grammar issues, please let me know.

Thank you.

I'd be much obliged if someone could answer at least part of my question. Thank you in advance.

It's all pretty good.

You need a comma after 'teaching hours'.
'be taken away' is fine.
The "Not to mention" part is not a sentence, so you need to attach it to the previous sentence with a comma in between.
'prior to any changes made' should be rewritten as 'prior to making any changes'
