Is the following sentence correct? Does it make sense?

It'd be good to see her respond to other students' opinions and share more of her own more often, as I'm certain she is capable of doing (so.)

I think that response is a noun... while respond is a verb...

Include the word "so."

"Respond" is fine. The sentence looks OK to me.

You could also say:

It'd be good to see her respond to other students' opinions and share more of her own more often, which I'm certain she is capable of doing.

Thank you Ozzourti. About the "so" part... Is it necessary to include it? For some strange reason, when I read the sentence, it sounds to flow better without "so" at the end. Don't know why though.

Well, I'd say "doing" needs an object. In a way, the word "so" substitutes for the idea expressed in the first part of the sentence. You could also
