Correct or not no. 20 - using the indefinite article with "how" and "how much of"

Howdy Good People,

I've got another question in my "Correct or Not" series Emotion: smile Would you please be so kind and point out which sentences are incorrect?

1. I don't know how much of a serious photographer your dad is but I'm sure he'll be satisfied with this camera.
2. I don't know how much of an advanced photographer your dad is but ...
3. I don't know how advanced a photographer your dad is but ...
4. I don't know how serious a photographer your dad is but ...

Is there any difference between using the indefinite article before adjectives and before nouns?

Thank you very much indeed!

They are all OK and there is little difference in meaning between the two styles. However, the style of (3) and (4) is slightly more formal.
