Perfect StrangerDear Users,Is it correct to use lawn mowing as a verb? For example: I've been lawn mowing for the greater part of the afternoon.ThanksNo. You could say I've been mowing a lawn for the greater part of the afternoon. This would be the case when speaking in general and not referring to a particular lawn.
