Correct or not?

Which sentence is correct?

1. The President said to the King of Jordan. "I trust you."

2. The President said to King of Jordan. "I trust you."

3. The President said to the king of Jordan. "I trust you."

I think No. 2 is correct. Am I right?

No, it's 1. If you capitalize "President", you have to do "King", also. They can both go either way, though. The question is whether you are using the titles as names, in which case they get capitalized. It's a gray area.

There is a mistake. There should be a comma instead of a period after "Jordan".
